The Bursary Fund provides assistance for members of the TeX community who would, for financial reasons, otherwise be unable to attend a TUG Conference.
TUG provides only administrative support for the bursary; the Bursary Committee operates independently, although the TUG Treasurer is, ex officio, one of its members. Bursary applicants need not be members of TUG, and the TUG board is not given any special knowledge of bursary applicants.
Please consider making a donation to the TUG Bursary Fund. 100% of any donations to the bursary fund are used for the bursary's stated purpose. Any surplus remaining after disbursements have been made will be carried over for use in the following year.
